Motovation is headed up by Richard Schmidt,
#775. Rich is the Raceway Park MX Track Manager, a New Jersey State Certified Teacher, motocross instructor since 1993,
professional racer since 1994, and also works with the NJ State Police as their
"Motocross Professional".
For seven years Rich served as the head instructor for the Tony D Motocross
Schools and trained over 6,000 students. He has been involved with motocross
since the mid 80's and currently offers MX instruction to all in the form of
private and semi-private lessons, as well as full day MX schools.
In 2007, another instructor was added to the
lineup. Ronnie Stewart, #313 has been
"student teaching" with Richard Schmidt for some time now doing lessons, and
Motovation is proud to announce that Ronnie Stewart will now be offering Private Lessons
for Motovation. When not on the track doing lessons, Ronnie can be found at the front of the pack in the 125 and 250 Pro
Classes. He has been racing for 12 years and comes from a diehard racing
family. He has competed in and qualified for the Bookoo Arenacross
Championship Series, he holds the title of 2006 250 Pro Expert Points Champion at
Raceway Park, and is also the NJ State Champion in the 250 Pro Expert Class for
2007.
Motovation's lessons and schools are open to
anyone interested in becoming a better, safer, and faster rider. Young and old,
boys and girls, men and women, father and son, husband and wife, motocrossers
and woods riders, the list goes on!!!
You will learn the correct body positioning
and techniques of starting, braking, cornering, jumping, passing, whoops, bike
set-up, physical and mental training, and more.
