Tyler (shown above #17) is the youngest instructor, but he has been around the sport for many years and has been actively engaged in offering motocross lessons and ATV lessons and rentals since 2012. A great kid with a bright future for sure!
Usually racing the pro circuit, however, when he has some time off, he devotes a lot of his time to offering private lessons and motocross schools for Motovation. The picture shown above is from the 2015 SX race in Met life stadium with his wave of yellow fans in teh background. The photo below shows him at a 2014 Supercross race signing autographs (with a long line in tow). Ronnie has been with Motovation since ~ 2006.
Along with Rich, Motovation has a group of qualified instructor’s that were brought up by Rich’s experience and have been offering a wonderful service to the Motovation students. A few Motovation instructors are:
Motovation is headed up by Richard Schmidt, #775 (shown here with James Stewart and Ryan Villapoto). Rich is the NJMP Field of Dreams Track Manager, former Raceway Park Track Manager (2005-2013), a New Jersey State Certified Teacher, motocross instructor since 1993, professional racer since 1994, a certified MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) Instructor, certified ASI (ATV Safety Institute) Instructor, certified ROHVA (Recreational Off Highway Vehicle Association/Side by Side) Instructor, a certified EMT, and also the “Motocross Professional” to the NJ State Police. For seven years Rich served as the head instructor for the Tony D Motocross Schools and trained over 6,000 students. He has been involved since the mid 80’s and currently offers instruction for dirt bikes, ATV’s and Side by Sides via private lessons as well as full day MX schools.
Since 2011, Evan Barnikow is a Motovation instructor who pulls double duty! Evan races both the A class on his four wheeler (see photo below) while also competing as a two wheeled motocross racer! Evan is also an ATV Safety Institute Instructor (ASI) and Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Dirtbike School Instructor. So regardless of your preference, Evan can assist anyone looking for two OR four wheeled instruction.
